Angler Jim Solomon lands a clean eleven pounder last Monday, fly fishing with delta guru Dan Blanton. photo courtesy of Dan Blanton. Nice one Jimmy!
It was a fantastic 3 days fishing with Capt. Dan Blanton! Guru, icon, whatever you want to label Dan it is true. His decades of experience and the greats he has fished with is beyond comparison. However, what touched me more than anything was his heart. Underneath that tough pro exterior is a kind heart that reached out to my lose and filled me with three days of absolute fun, camaraderie, and an incredible willingness to share his unmatched angling experience. His love and knowledge of the Delta is un-comparable. Thank you Dan for three memorable days of my life. Jim Solomon
To all on this blog – If it wasn’t for meeting Mr. Al Quattrochi I would have not expanded my angling experience beyond number 24 baetis emergers. Thanks Al for Bigger Flies and Bigger Fish! And thank you for all of have done for this sport. Jim
